Happy Friday! I finally was able to get my house tour video uploaded last night! It’s my first ever video of the sort so please excuse the complete lack of professionalism. Like, for example, I forgot that you can’t just tilt the camera to the side to fit more in the frame. That just makes things go to the side. Oops. Anyway, I’ll stop with the self-deprecation. Just watch the video.

Did all that camera shake and tilting to and fro give you motion sickness? How embarrassing is that giant box of beer in my fridge? Do you wish that you had your own little animal entourage to follow you around? It’s a blessing and a curse.

I actually really enjoyed shooting this. It was a lot of fun to let you see my whole house, even the ugly parts, narrated by yours truly, and the spontaneity of video is a nice departure from carefully crafted photos and written words. If I can figure out an easier way to record + upload I will definitely be doing more videos in the future.

What would y’all like to see? More pets? Me showing you how to do various craft projects? Just a tour every few months to see what’s changed? Or do you feel like I just stole twelve and a half minutes of your life that you’ll never get back?
